Home-made Tomato Sauce (Pesach)
from purple Lub cookbook, posted upon request

4 tomatoes, diced
1 onion, diced
1/4 cup wine
1/8 cup lemon juice
2 T salt
1 T sugar
olive oil

Sautee onion, add your tomatoes., then the rest of the ingredients. Cook until thick.

Remember, if you cook wine, there is no alcohol left in it, the alcohol evaporates, so its just for flavor.

It's good even if you don't peel the tomatoes?
And what kind of wine?
And for about how long?
