So, I just received a flyer from out community on pesach. There are 3 options for lechem mishne. Our rav holds it's preferable to eat matza ashira, since it's less of a hastle and allows you to celebrate shabbat as usual. He also holds you can eat it till mincha ketana, which is around 4 pm by us, so no problem eating 2 meals on shabbat day. So, what do you do?

We're going to a hotel and bringing challah just in case they don't have and we'll eat it outside. Most of the people there will be sefardim so they probably will use matzah.

challah or pita.

For the last meal (seudah shilshit at approximately 9:30am), we will have matzah(wrapped up) as the 2nd lechem.

DH asked to eat matza ball soup for seuda slishit but ehh how can I leave hot soup with balls on the plata for so long? Not sure it's possible. Also because I'll need most of my plata space for friday night's soup and the cholent.

We're going to be at my parents for Pesach. There are no little kids around (yet) to worry about making crumbs, so we're eating challah outside on the porch. I think we will each get one challah roll. The rest of the shabbos meals will be pesachdic, but nothing with matza meal.

Pittot. Our Rav said that we'll need to eat about half a Pita to make a Kezayit. Depending on the weather, we may eat outside.

pitot. And to make life even better as our Rov is away, dh was asked to speak in shul shabbos morning! I asked what time and as they start at 7 he will speak for only five minutes and they should finished by 8:45. Giving us about 20 minutes to eat I guess...for seuda shlishit we will have fruit.

Pitot for lechem mishna until you can no longer eat chametz (9:59 a.m. shabbat). Something made with matza meal (matza balls or matza meal pancakes) for seuda shelishit. We are sefardic and at the shabbat hagadol dereash yesterday our rav said no matza on erev pesach. Matza ashira is ok or something cooked with matza meal, but no matza. Matza for us is mezonot when it is not pesach.

We will be using my home baked challah rolls Very Happy
The last time we had a Pesach that fell out Motzei Shabbat, I bought challah rolls and they were horrible! It was a real chore to swallow them down. So this year I baked challah last week (4 small loaves), and I also made enough rolls for everyone to have two for this week's Shabbos meals.
I'm not sure what we're going to do for Seudat Shlishit yet. Our Rav recommends having matzo ashira, but I don't really like the idea. I may do so anyway, though.

Pita for Friday night and Mataza fried in egg the next day, so we can have it for Seuda Shlishit too!
