Did u know these Halachic points ?

I gave this title to the thread since there will be other things besides challah that we can add!
U know that challah depending on the quantity u use should be taken from cake and cookies too but with no beracha and if it's too liquidy to take then the cake gets baked first and then one takes a portion of it.
I just went over the dinim of taking challah from the book kosher living for the body and soul and I just found this out.
Most of us won't be making such huge quantitys to yeild the need for taking challah but it's always good to know.
The book also simplifys it by telling exactly how many cups one takes with or without a beracha depending if sifted or not

Frielich, I was always wondering about cookies and cakes and now you answered my question
