"The triplets, carried to 35 weeks and weighing 4 pounds 12 ounces (Logan), 4 pounds (Eli), and 4 pounds 11 ounces (Collin) at birth, went home to the couple's three-bedroom house Sunday," according to Newsday. "At the news conference, each wore a dot of nail polish on a different tiny finger so their parents could tell them apart."
The chances of having identical triplets are pretty low. The paper says doctors estimate that the odds range from 1 in 60,000 births to 1 in 200 million births.
“With in vitro, you can really control — or so we thought — how many babies came out by putting so many embryos in,” the new mother tells NBC's Today show. “We put one embryo in expecting one baby, but there were other plans.”
