Not wishing to hijack, but I told DS I'd get the info from amothers (he thought I was nuts, so PLEASE come through with this!!!)

He needs at least 2 wisdom teeth pulled; he's in a lot of pain. Somebody in Brooklyn who takes insurance...my DD went to a Russian guy & she said he was amazing but she can't remember his name. I think he was either Ocean Ave or Ocean Parkway.

Names & ##, please???

Thanks!! Hug

I think I went to Dr. Sher in Sheepshead Bay and he was great. If you're talking about the group practice on Kings Highway off of Ocean Pkwy, I WOULD NOT go there. Good luck!

I've heard of Dr. Dym on E 29 & Ave J however I do not have personal experience with him.

I recommend Drs Kopf and Kalman. They are in Queens but DEFINITELY worth the trip. I had 4 badly impacted wisdom teeth removed at once and it took 15 minutes with very minimal swelling for about 2 days. They are both great and accept insurance.

I went to Ocean Parkway and Kings Highway - Oral Surgery Assoc. - Birnbaum & Gelfman's group. I used both of them - I had good experience with both of them. My family also used Johnson at their practice who was good. People say their practice is like a factory - but I figured that just means they have tons of experience. Good Luck!

Do me a favor do all in one shot. If you’re going to go through this, do it once and do it right.

unless there's a reason not to, I'd also do 4 at once. Only 1 ordeal to go through.

I had mine all done at once, but two were fully erupted, and 2 were half erupted, half still covered, so it wasn't the worst recovery.

I used Dr Hertz on Ocean Ave. He was great. Both my teeth were impacted but he didn't need to cut the gums- he just got it out on his own. there was very little pain for just 2 hours (more like discomfort) and there was no swelling at all. I did my 2 teeth at two seperate times about 10 days apart. the 2 teeth were at different sides of the teeth, so I did them seperately.
Dr Hertz takes americhoice
