| THIS IS not going to be reassuring..but my son colored on my leather couch and I tried a few suggestions online and none worked. and this was AFTER using the leather cleaner that came wiht the couch that actually RUINED my couch...it sort of rubbed out the color from the couch but most of the pen stayed. so be VERY CAREFUL abt using cleansers as mine actually ruined my couch and is slightly more noticeable then just the pen marks. but good luck.

| Try with some rubbing alcohol. This should work best on fresh stains. Also, rub gently, the color may fade a bit . If it's a dark color couch, try it in an inconspicuous place first to see how much of the color comes off.

Every time my DS decides to draw with black pen on my light brown/tan suede couch, this is what I do.
Using a regular suede cleaner (for shoes, which looks like an eraser and came with a brush. $10 from sears.) I gently rub the pen mark to take off most of the "excess". Then, I grab rubbing alcohol and Q-tips. Wet the tip of a Q-tip and ever so gently, draw along the pen marks.
Test first, because it does remove color if you saturate the material and also if you rub too hard.
My stains are noticible only to me, and then only if I look for them.
Good luck!

| Try going to marthastewart.com under home and decorating. If you don't find what you want, then type it in. I've found the site great for laundering tips.
