Help need good shiur idea for dh!

Help! dh is subbing tonight in a seminary. He needs to have his own topic. He wants to make a good impression! He's very good at questions on the top of his head. I think he needs something philosophical that they can discuss and plays to his strengths.....any ideas??

What about simcha, since this Shabbos will be Shabbos mevarchim Adar I.

a great topic specially for seminary girls is to explain waht it means "shivim panim l'torah" and "elu v'elu tivrei elokim chayim".
how can contradictory ideas all be correct in torah?

trust me about every girl has wondered that at least once in her life and if ur Dh is good at fielding deep question it would make for an exciting and heated class.

If u need a more practical type of shuir my DH gives many intersting topics in his weekly shuirim and I can post some of those

If he wants something "hot", maybe try checking out the contriversial issues section on the site for ideas. I loved rabbis who werent scared to bring up contriversial issues.

He went with talking about parshat mishpatim. He's got a whole thing about why the mitzvot are in the order they are in. First he's going to have them decide what order they would put the mitzvot in and then explain why the torah has them in the order they are.
