I am looking for a cleaning lady to help me around the house on sundays.
Russian speaking would be great since I speak Russian.
I'm looking to pay about $20 for about 1-1.5 hours.
If you have a cleaning lady or know someone that is available on sunday afternoons please PM me.

LOL Clarissa! She's referencing the other thread about leaving your "goita" home alone.
In all seriousness though, I'm not sure you're going to find anyone who's going to bother coming down for an hour or so. My cleaning lade is only willing to do 3 hours or more, and she takes $10/hour.

Did you check "Russkaya Reklama" newspaper? They usually have lots of listings. Or you could go to www.rusrek.com Can you read Russian?

My apartment is so tiny I dont have 3 hours of work! All there is to clean is the bathroom, kitchen floor and dining room floor and maybe dishes. I dont really have anything that needs dusting and laundry is easy enough for me to do myself. What else is there??

I didnt think of that, its a good idea but you never know who u are getting from these ads especially in Russian newspapers. I'd rather get someone that comes with a recommendation.

| Why don't you call the Juravel agency, don't know her number, but she's in BP, on 45th st. between 14 &15 ave. She always has people waiting at her house for work. Maybe someone will be interested in a small job.

She's not doing cleaning ladies anymore. Anyway I had a really bad experience dealing with her.
The best advice is to use somebody that's already working on your block or family at other times. Maybe you can be in touch with them when she's finished with them one night or before she's scheduled to go to them because it's hard to find somebody to stay committed to you for if you give them so few hours.
