Any tips on coping? Financial aspects etc?
Tovah is in boarding school in Memphis and I find it very hard. She, of course, loves it lol

It is not easy emotionaly or physicaly .For me it's my oldest son he comes whenever there is a break b"h. he is learning only 4hrs plane ride away. financialy it is costing us but he is very carefull with money unlike his mother Very Happy but yes there is tution ,phone spending money and tickets to fly back and forth plus b"h we have other kids. That is why I have to go back to work next year one income in our situation just doesn't cut it. Talk about tuition how come even if you are in israel, russia, or overseas they still charge the same in u.s. dollars does anyone know?

My eldest son is away. It was not hard for me. I was prepared for this 'day' and it will come again with each of my children.
The only part that is hard for my son, is that he is not used to 'big city' kids. We trained our children to be polite and have derech eretz. To be refined and have respect for people and property. And to try your hardest and take resposibility and be honest.
I'm sure there are many parents who have done the same. Apparently, though, not all Wink.
It is hard finacially and will only get harder. Such is life.
