ok so this is really random, and im posting anon cuz I dont know if this is controversial or s/t or not?
but who/what is TAMMY? or Maybe Tammy Tammy? or TammySue??
I already saw this person discussed on 3 separate boards and ive seen her posts...Im not a big poster on imamother, but am I missing some major controversy? No one rly ever explains, just say things like "after the tammysue fiasco" etc
can someone just tell me what this is????????????????????????

It's rather a long story...
In a nutshell, there were 2 posters (Tammy and Sue) were really one person. (Sometimes arguing with eachother/themselves) "They" stirred up "stuff" for various people, other members took sides, people's feelings got hurt. Wasn't pretty.
Yael figured out that "they" were really one person (a male person) and kicked he/she off the board.
I may have gotten some of my facts wrong, since it was rather complicated) but that's how I understood the situation.

it first it was funny when I read but its really actually very very creepy
but anyway, ok, fine, I chap how Yael could figure out if its one person (all posts coming from one computer), but how did she figure out its a man?????????????????????

The wife was banned and contacted by Yael. She emailed Yael back to find out why she was banned. Yael asked if she had ever heard of TammyTammy (yes, she'd read "her" posts) or SueDanym (no, she never came across "her").
The wife spoke with her hubby about it cause she couldn't understand what she had done wrong and why she was banned. He confessed to her. He admitted what he had done to Yael in detail..including that he was male. He asked Yael not to reveal that detail because he was afraid of what the women on this board would say/do to his wife who was innocent of the entire thing. See, Yael allowed the wife to return because she hadn't been aware of any of it. He sent an apology letter to Yael and asked if she would post it. The letter left out the detail that he was a male because of the aforementioned reason. The wife, on the other hand, decided to post those details because she felt that the women on the board had the right to know.
He himself will not be returning to the site and is doing teshuva for what he did wrong. He is trying to help Yael crack down on imposters such as himself. Unfortunately that is easier said than done. His wife unfortunately has to deal with the aftermath of the entire thing. 
This is the story in a nutshell.

how do you know them amother? and wouldn't there be a reason she didn't give us.
also what you wrote isn't accurate. Yael DID tell us it was a husband, unlike what you are telling us.

It sounds like the story of Frank Abagnale Jr., the con artist and forger who wound up working for the FBI and starting his own security company to help companies prevent the kinds of crimes he committed. There was a movie about it called, "Catch Me If You Can."

What Clarissa said makes a lot of sense. Maybe she (the amother above) meant to prevent other men from "infiltrating" the site? Other people have mentioned that the questionairre isn't very hard to get around (no offense to Yael, of course).

That doesn't make sense, so I doubt Yael would allow for it.
Ideas as to what to do wouldn't neccesitate his being on the site, would they?

I think we should all take a break from this story for the night until we are more rested after a good shluf. perhaps then we can come up with even more iteresting and far fetched stories.
oh! and maybe we can get withhumor and mahpitom to be part of the plot too. whatdya think?
