Can anyone tell me what beliefs are associated with the etrog, and what people do? Someone told me that if you sleep with one under your pillow, it makes for an easier delivery. Are there other etrog-related beliefs?

So I take it all the traditions have to do with having babies. Interesting. I wonder why.

Talking about babies and esrog. When I was very much due, or overdue already with one of my kids, Tu b'shvat was on shabbos. At the table when we were eating the fruits, my kids said that one of the neighbors had a baby last year right after tu bshvat, saying that eating the esrog is a segula. I, of course ate it. My kids so believe that that is the truth. I had the baby sunday night. Since then, I make sure not to eat it in front of them, I dont wanna ruin their fantasy. Laughing

well, there you go--had you not eaten the esrog, you might have gone a few more days. Can you prove it wasn't the esrog that did it? (Unless you were induced or had a scheduled c/sx.)
