Loefflers and Regal. They have all price ranges. You get for what you pay for. They have the cheap quality and the real good stuff like Italian furniture.

Children's furniture you can get pretty good (not massively expensive quality) stuff at Kid-dyno-mite for fantastic prices.

I got Canadian furniture vs Italian and I'm more than fine with it. I refuse to pay the export/import high fees and the 'Italian' label fees

I bought my couches from Taubus/Frenkels. They are attached - not sure which one I actually bought through. They were decently priced, but the leather has started rubbing off at the seams.

I worked in one of the big BP Furniture stores, and the quality and crafstmanship and detail of Italian and Canadian can't compare at all.

terrible customer service. prices sky high.

Everything but the baby has books to look through, but you can't actually see what you're getting, so for that, I can buy from the interent!

Why do you need Italian craftsmanship so you can be nervous all the time with your kids ruining it?

We got most of our furniture used through Jewish and secular classifieds. There were some things I didn't want used so we bought a new sofa, armchairs, etc.

I know this is an unpopular way to go. I hear people who spend $10,000 on a bedroom set when they get married, then ask for tuition assistance a few years later. We are B"H able to afford, but we choose not to waste our money. We are saving it for when we need it.
