1 cup flour
1 c. oats
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

1 egg
1/4 oil
1/3 cup juice or honey
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. raisins

mix it all together in order, drop by small teaspoonfulls onto greased cookie sheet. press slightly to flatten. bake at 375 for 10-12 min. until set and golden, cookies will become crisp when cooled.

TIP: I take a bunch of ziplock bags and in each one I put a serving of the dry ingredients when I make this. then I have ready made cookie mix waiting for me next time I want to make cookies in a hurry.
I suggest you write on the bag the wet ingredients that still need to go in so you dont have to pull out the cookbook at all.
enjoy!!
makes about 3 dozen cookies

Thanks Yael... I just made them, and they are yum!

Just a note to anyone making them: make them small... they grow in the oven!

Such good advertisement, I made them too! I made them healthier by replacing the sugar with maple syrup. It came out great!

proud she did exactly how the recipe said and it didn't work for her one bit.

a lot of times I use applesauce instead of oil and marg. in the recipe I use equal amounts of the applesauce to substitute and it comes out fluffy and its much more healthier.

Yael,
I finally made your cookies today (haven't been baking for a long while) - and they are great! I must admit, though, that I substituted choc. chips for raisins b/c my husband won't eat them w/ raisins.
Thanks.
Good Shabbos.

my husband won't eat raisins either, and I won't eat chocolate chips, so we are gonna have to make them without anything added - or just split the recipe in half.
