Only one so far- dh- but I'm pregnant with our first, so that seems likely to change. (He has a couple that seem to run in his family.)

Yeah, I don't think 1-2 is a good category to have because I view it as a big difference between one and two. One can be a fluke, two is already like a pattern. Or at least like a family thing, that you don't only have to be careful about one person but it's already most of the time.

There is a big difference between what we call allergies, and having a life threatening allergy to a particular food.
I have one son who was prescribed an epi-pen for dairy.

No allergy per se.
I have lactose and gluten intolerance. But it's not an allergy. Kah may my family never have to go deprived of their fav food.

I don't know. Used to be 2 with an outright allergy and one who avoided the foods till he can be tested.... well he got tested and it showed some weird ones- melons and potato.... then the other kid outgrew hers but sometimes complains of heartburn after dairy (an allergy symptom) so its 1-3... I didn't answer the poll. Also I bymistake ate something I'm allergic to and didn't react, was told when pregnant stuff can change so am planning on doing a full workup sometime in the near or far future (can't be pregnant or nursing)

Each of my children has a different food allergy. On Purim I wanted to take them all and hide under a rock. We have wheat, whey, egg and soy allergies, all with Epi-pens.

I voted none, but then I remembered that a mild allergy does run in my family and I have it as well, mango and kiwi make my throat feel funny/furry but it is mild enough bh that I forgot about it! I suspect at least one of my DD has it as well, she also said her throat felt funny after eating kiwi.

My understanding was that the concern with allergies is that they can go from bad to worse; ie, non life-threatening to ch"vsh life threatening, with no warning.
