Bathe child. (Wiping will not help the same way). Use Pampers Swaddlers or Cruisers which really keep irritants away from skin. (Other diapers will not yield same result for sensitive children.)
Thin smear of clotrimazole on red, irritated part. Huge, generous smear of balmax on top. Seal it all in with generous sprinkles of corn starch.
By morning you will see how much better it looks and how much better the child feels.
Continue clotrimazole 2x a day (no more), Balmax and corn starch with every diaper change until there is no rash.

I use triple paste, but also calmoseptine, which I didn't see on the list. It has calamine lotion in it, and seems to do a pretty good job for soothing the area too.

Triple Paste Medicated Ointment is amazing.
but if the rash is persistent its may be a fungus rash where it needs appropriate cream.

zeasorb antifungal powder. the rash never develops. corn starch feeds yeast so its never a good idea for a moist enviornment.

The dermatologist. I was shocked to learn it too but it makes sense, yeast need sugars to grow, think of when you activate the yeast in challah, and corn starch is the perfect food.

My baby can be a mother , but I use to use an egg white as a protective barrier when she had a mild rash , kept her from developing a bad rash.

I have been a huge fan of clitromizole followed with generous Caldescene powder after washing area well. It does wonders and once it is healed use triple paste with Caldescene.

I sprinkle potato starch every time I diaper my baby - it works wonders! She hardly ever gets a diaper rash, and if she does, it clears up almost immediately
