I got my first one last week, at age 32. I was shocked- I think I'm young for that.

I was 29 when my first one came in. Isn't that young?

Four or five years old. Yes, it was an anomaly, of course, every now and then an unpigmented strand shows up and means nothing. Oh, you meant permanently? Thirty-eight. I was at an annual work-related event and in the mirror above the ladies' room sink I saw it. Thought nothing of it--see above re: the occasional mutant strand. BUT the very next year I stood at the very same sink and noticed the very same strand, still there. Not again--still. It remained a lonely sentinel for quite some time before it started getting neighbors. Now, of course, they've taken over the neighborhood.

23. I have like 4 white hairs and pluck them every so often. But no new ones since I first saw them.

At least a year ago, so 26 and change.
And mine isn't white, it's straight up silver and wiry. It bothered me at first, but I got over it quickly.

42 and haven't gotten one yet. A big surprise since my parents both had a good amount of gray by this age.

Where are the first two decades? I remember seeing at 12 but it could've been earlier.

I knew I'd get a comment like this one, but no, he doesn't dye his hair.
