I've done this several year's running, but Carter's has an amazing deal on their winter coats this weekend. Especially if you are ordering more than 1 (or over $50). It retails for $82, now it's 50% off, and if you purchase over $50 it comes to less than $35 per coat--and it's a 3-in-1 which means it has the zip out lining which means it can be a spring jacket too!

I love Carter's! That said, it's one of those stores that always claims to be having a sale, every day of the year. It's never ever the full MSRP price. However, it's usually 40% not 50, so you are saving an extra few dollars for this sale. There's always an extra 20% off code online if you google for it.

It's fleece lined, not polartec or down. Medium warmth, nothing heavy duty.

True you almost never play full MSRP with Carters--but the coats often do go back up to full price I saw it in past years. and with this sale you come out paying like $35 per winter coat.
I happen to love their 3 or 4-in-one coats which are great for the NY area winters which can vary greatly from year to year. My son wore the one from last year--polar vortex and all and never complained. I

He also loved walking home from school in the snow in this coat. We had an unfortunate incident with the inner jacket, so we had to buy new coats this year.
