If you have a Chassidish/Lubavitch slant, there is R' Yechiel Michel - The Zlotschover Maggid
That link leads to Yechiel Michel- not Yehuda Michel.
Seems like there are many different gedolim that are Yechiel Michel, but any other gedolim with the name Michoel?

The name Michel (or Mechel) and Michoel are 2 different names.
The Nitra Rav was R' Michoel Ber Weissmandel tz"l.
I have a son Yechiel Michel

| Many gedolim have had Yiddish names because that was their generation. Michoel is the same name (and yes R' Weissmandel is a good one, but I thought I mentioned him Friday -- I guess I forgot to post!). Michoel is also a beautiful name, and one of the melochim, and if you want to name a baby that, (I'm assuming that is what this post is about, if not then I apologize), I say go ahead.

A great chossid indeed. Anyone could be proud to be named for him.
There is another famous Reb Michoel in Lubavitch, R. Michoel Bliner, who was a mashpia in the original Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim of Lubavitch, in Lubavitch. He was known for his extraordinary Ahavas Yisroel and devotion to the bochurim, in addition to his passionate Avodah.

Yes, but he used it for many years and his sefer was named "Toras Chemed"= CHaim Michoel Dov.
