especially yerushalayim area. anyone?
I've seen on all these health websites that kale is awesome for you and very healthy.
what about polenta, anyone? maybe machane yehuda or something?

Bodek2go.com sometimes has kale in stock. I've used them a few times and have been happy with the quality and service.
I do not know about Polenta, it never appealed to me..if you wanted to make it I think it's made of corn meal. I'm sure there are lots of recipes available. Good luck!

If you mean cornmeal (from which polenta is made) rather than prepared polenta, it's in all the grocery stores. Ask for "kemach tiras". It's usually near the other grains. Here are some photos of packages.

ok that explains a lot thanks.
I actually just went to the shuk in the interim and found kale, but then looked it up in r' vaye's book and he doesn't recommend buying it because it is too hard to check, he didn't even recommend ways to check etc so I guess that means that we shouldn't buy it

At bodek2go the veggies are grown hydroponically so you don't have to worry about the buggie problem. Something to consider anyway.
