Uae regular anti fungal cream for the feet on a diaper rash it works every time

I was all out of everything recently and used bacitracin for a diaper rash then used baby powder to keep skin dry. It really worked! At the same time I started giving my DS acidophilus (sp?) to make his stomach less loose and now he is better.

BTW - the ingredient that makes the diaper rash cream effective (if it's not fungal) is zinc oxide. Desitin maximum strength has 40% zinc oxide while balmex only has 11.3% of zinc oxide. For the previous poster who said that desitin doesn't work -- your child must have had a fungal rash.

A&D is the best! if its really bad I would add cornstarch or powder with the a&d

May be a stupid question but how do you know if its fungal, yeast infection or anything else? Do the rashes look different?

I'm partial to something called inotyl. Dr. Gribitz recommended it to my while I was living in Israel. I think it comes from France. You can't get it in the US so I always as family members to pick some up for me when they go!

olive oil is the best!
I bought a few shpritz.bottles in the dollar store and ahpritz my baby. It is the only thing that worked for him.
