MM - one or 2 to family

A good friend of my husband's wife is my sions teacher this year. Is it proper to give one MM to the family or give one to the family and a seprate one to the teacher from my son.

I think you should combine it if you would give a gift to the teachers add it into what you are giving them I would say make it a bit nicer but no you do not give two

I would also give one and maybe put a note in with it that addresses both. Or even you write one card from the family, and have your son write one to her

MM is really one to one, for the mitzvah anyway.
