anyone have any experience dying a synthetic sheitel and can suggest which products to use and how to do it and if it came out successful or not.

As far as I am aware you cannot dye synthetic it is not porous so it won't accept any change of color Confused

well because it is synthetic you can use fabric dye, not regular hair dye...

Not even a clothes fabric dye would work. even on clothes only natural fibres dye like cotton and wool not polyester etc.Speaking from experiance all it might do is wreck your sheital Confused

on the internet I remember once seeing someone who experimented dying a synthetic using rit dyes..... of course, she was making her wig some bizarre color. I don't think rit comes in normal hair colors other than brown and black

Dyes cost at least $10 and you can get a new synthetic for $30... I would just buy a new synthetic, plus dyes probably wont work.
