Imagine you're having a restaurant and you have a good recipe that people are interested to buy, how much would you charge?

that depends on the ingredients involved, how much you expect to sell per day, taxes, labor costs, etc. you also need to consider your customers. are you an upscale restaurant, or the equivalent of mcdonald's?

I think u understood me wrong. I was today at a restaurant eating pizza, and it tasted heavenly.
I wonna open soon a restaurant myself in a different town, now I was asking the owner if he was interested in selling the recipe.. how much do you think is a normal price to charge?

Yeah, I wouldn't sell either.

The range is from nothing to nothing Smile Some people would give it for free, some for a $100, some for $5000, some wouldn't give it for the world. I don't think there is a set price for this kind of thing.

Whatever he charges you, maybe he can give you a decent deal if you name the product after him or his store?
