Does anyone know what is kosher or not when shopping for wine or other such liquors? Nothing seems to have a kosher symbol. Are there specific names/brands that is commonly known as kosher even if there's no obvious indication that it's kosher?

Thanks! Smile

Wine needs a hechsher.

For other liquors, etc., here are some links to help:

Nowadays it is much more likely to be stam yeinam rather than yayin nesech (which would only be if it is used for avodah zarah).
