When do you stop giving your baby a bottle before bed?

at what age did you stop giving your baby/ toddler a bottle before bed? when did you switch to a sippy cup before bed?

DS has a drink with dinner and then he goes right to bed. He is 19 months. It's been this way since he stopped nursing when he was one. He drinks with a sippy but he can do a small regular cup pretty well.

I never gave my kids bottles before bed once they stopped nursing.

My daughter nursed for all of 3 minutes (for a few reasons it never worked) so she was bottle fed almost from birth. She was still having a bottle at almost 3 years old and then I led her up to not drinking before bed for a few weeks telling her that when she is a big girl of 3 she will stop drinking from the bottle before she goes to sleep. And for many weeks I kept on diluting the formula, just so it was still there, and kept on giving her less and less until one night I said thats it. And we started a new bed time ritual, reading a book before bed. It worked great BH. I think it worked well because she had a long time (at least 3 weeks) to get ready for it.

My DS drank a bottle before going to sleep until he was 5 and got cavities from it so definetetly sooner!

My kids never take a bottle to bed. My opinion- at a year old you can start with giving a bottle of mostly water and slowly making it only water. How often does he even wake up for a bottle?
