2. Is a little ruffly chambray skirt for girls summery or can I buy one for winter?

The shoes in black do but the other two colors are nice IMO

I liked the other colors too, but I'm specifically looking for black now. Looks a bit cheaply to me..,,

It's not fake leather, I'm not sure how it looks in person- it can be very different online. I like the raspberry color.

What would she wear under the skirt in the winter? I don't think it works with tights. With short socks (or none) in the summer, definitely.

The shoes, in black, do look slightly cheapish, a bit like payless in my opinion but if you like it then I don't see why not. Just don't expect people to think (and possibly the time they will last) that they were expensive.

For the skirt, I don't see any problems with it. If its denim or black or navy you can wear it with socks or sandals in the summer and tights in the winter (blue or black tights). Really no problems there. Most clothing can be made winter/summer even if it was sold in a specific season.

Thanks everyone! I'm forgetting about those shoes. I decided they look too cheap.
CC- I was also thinking Payless when I saw them!

MaBelle- I think you might be right about tights. Can only see this skirt with socks,and my school won't allow that...

Just want to add op, that although many people (especially in BP that I see) only ever wear such skirts with socks, I as a girl and my sister now wears such skirts with tights, and if paired correctly can look really cute. I would try it one day and see if you could get used to it.

A denim skirt with navy tights with butterflies down the side is SO cute on little girls! It might not be cute like socks but if you gotta wear tights, you gotta wear tights!

I know you're not getting those shoes but they had them half a year ago online and all the reviews said they barely lasted a few wears. I thought they were cute too.

Not crazy about the shoes, what's with the zipper on the back?

I think on little girls those skirts can look cute with tights or without or leggings

Zippers up the back of sandals was probably the biggest trend of the summer. Whether you like it or not is a diff. story but they're everywhere....
