I live in a building and b'h we have very good heating, but a little too good and it's very dry. I don't want to give TMI, but my nose doesn't appreciation the dryness. I open the windows a crack if it's not too cold, but it doesn't always help. The heat are not from heaters, but from the floor and then of course the ceiling because we're not on the top floor. When we used standing heaters, I would put a pot of water on it, so it won't get too dry, but I can't do that now. Any advice? Like I said, my nose does not appreciate it all and that means I don't Wink . TIA

You can buy humidifiers to use in whatever rooms need it most.

That sounds so wonderful and I would love to do it, but the room I need it the most is my bedroom and there's not room for anything. I'm serious!! Shocked
Any other ideas?

You can keep a huge pot of water simmering on a very low flame on the stove all day.

Sometimes when I make a huge pot of chicken soup, and leave it simmering overnight, the windows are all fogged up in the morning during the winter!

A humidifier isn't big at all. . . you can even place it on your dresser or nightstand.
