I made a pie for shabbos to serve with pareve cream. Any ideas of recipes I could make with the leftover cream? I have half a small carton left...
Thanks in advance!

Serve with fresh fruit. Or a hot brownie.

swirl into soup.
make another pie.
serve with coffee after shabbos meals, when you are fleishig.
If its only half a carton those cartons are tiny already. And I don't think it whips. well, I've never tried to whip it.

| It doesn't cook so wonderfully, if adding to soup only do it on a low heat. I would only use it as pouring cream.

Mmm thanks for the ideas! I like the soup idea - I might make a creamy soup to go with a meaty meal before the 9 days...aka tonight!
The reason I want a recipe even though it's only a tiny bit, is because I never usually buy it and I LOVE cream, so I wanted to do something imaginative with it. There's only me and DH so there'd be enough to go round

| I use it to make a creamy pasta sauce - stir fry veg and add cream, pour over pasta.

| I use it for making toffee sauce for the parve version of sticky toffee pudding. I've posted recipe some time ago. Or add to curry or tikka dish for milder taste. It's single cream consistency so won't whip.

Yum Thanks everyone!
In the end I decided to stir it into mashed potatoes to serve with delicious moist turkey meatloaf and fried mushrooms w/ onions.
I think I'm going to start buying it more often. I like the curry idea.
