Do people make Shalom Zachors during the 3 weeks?

I am due in a week but hoping to have the baby before the three weeks. Do people still throw a shalom zachor if it would fall during the three weeks? What about the bris? Is the celebration subdued??

I'm pretty sure you can even have meat during the 9 days at a bris. A bris that is actually on tisha b'av is subdued, and one on the 17th of Tammuz would be at the end of the fast, but other than that, things are normal.

Actually, this year the ones on 17 Tammuz (proper) get to be at a reasonable hour. Smile

The problem is the ones on 18 Tammuz...

Our son's bris was during the 9 days and we served meat (that's what we were told to do)

sholom zochor is regular, vach nacht also (no meat in the 9 days)
bris seuda is a seudas mitsva , so for sure there is meat ( my sons have every year a siyum ususlay bais uv, yurtsait of ari and they give meat)
tishu b'ov bris on time and seudas mitsva in after fast
