Ironing is worse. That's why I'm here. _________________ "To err is human. To blame it on a computer is even more so."

| Considering the dynamics of my house...I need to go INTO my office to access the laundry room. Every ATTEMPT to iron gets stopped by imamother calling my name...

| deciding how you want to waste your time is very individual, there is no one right way or wrong way. some people get satisfaction seeing a freshly pressed pair of undies; I get satisfaction seeing a freshly worded post. whatever works for you. as long as it isn't doing the dishes, because that wouldn't be a true time waster, no matter how much it gives you satisfaction...

Well how "IRONIC" I would much rather eat out of a clean shiny dish than wear pressed underwear (it's only for a few hrs anyway).
Maybe I can auction off my iron (almost never used) Of course I don;t iron our underwear but where exactly is it creased it comes out of the wash perfect every time.

doesn't it depend on what thread one is posting on versus what one is ironing?
Why are you ladies looking for absolutes.

I was going to say this also. I have learned many things on imamother...the only thing I have learned while ironing is that I hate ironing.

imamother is my therapy.
and on that note, I've noticed that the few times I've ever ironed were immediately followed by major emotional breakdowns. think the events are related?

I once had a houseguest who wanted to iron his shirt (for a shidduch date). He asked (adult, married) DS where the iron is. DS came running to me and whispered -- where's the iron and what does it look like! _________________ Want to lose weight fast? Want to keep it off easily?

On imamother, I look at threads. When I iron, I look at threads. Same thing.
