It is assur to do something dangerous for the health or risky. Even a one time pot can be dangerous, at least according to "my" docs.

wouldn't also be assur to do something that is illegal in the country that you live in?

Well.... to be fair, if someone were playing on T'AV itself, yes, I'd have a problem letting my kids listen to his music.
Everything else (pictures, joints, payos....) is more of a sideshow.

This entire discussion makes me want to throw up. Please don't play the "I care about his neshama" card when you want to gossip. You couldn't give two hoots about his neshama. If you did, you would know that drawing attention to his actions that ppl perceive as negative doesn't enhance his neshama in the slightest.
This discussion is no holier than someone discussing whether Angelina Jolie conceive Shiloh while Brad was still married to Jennifer.
