How often are they supposed to be washed? I feel like I should wash them every week, but they are nice and if I wash them that often they will be ruined in no time.
Also how often should my sponge mop be washed? What about kitchen sponges?

kitchen sponges I throw our and replace weekly.
Mop I throw in the washing machine after each time I use it, so several times a week. I don't have bathmats.

Mop attachments I throw in to the washer once a week along with the rags. Often I will wash between each use (I have 2).
Bath mat I end up getting rid of. But you need to wash every so often, when you feel like it needs it. It does wear out this way though.
Kitchen sponges - I use mostly disposable steel wool. When I use Scotch Brite, it's usually replaced every few weeks. (Hand washed after each use.) _________________ Really Awesome Mom!

| I wash all these stuff after each use. additional attachment for sponges/mops are not too pricey. I use steel wools on almost all dishes so no issue with that and for delicates I use a bounty and that gets dumped too. I find anything used and sitting around creates a bad odor.
