Anyone here have an opinion.
I love the styl and clothing yet, cannot bring myself to spend that amounts.
I am hoping someone will tell me the stuff is great quality and last through my great grandchildren, this way I will look at it as an investment!!
Lets go, someone please help me indulge without guilt!

I personally love it. If you can get stuff on sale for the next season, its worth it to stock up. Everything lasts and washes beautifully.

They have sales at the end of the season so you can wait until then. Their stuff is good quality.

I never shop at Jacadi and got a gift certificate as a baby present from a friend.

Went to the store...chose a denim pants. I come to the register, the saleslady asks me "how old is your child...you have to get at least a size bigger because they shrink... and of course the denim will fade if you wash it!"

The heck! My Gap and Old Navy stuff last from kid to kid to kid!!

I have some jacadi stuff that I received as gifts. It's nice, but not indestructible. . . I mean, it's clothing, right? I wash on cold and hang to dry, and the baby stuff doesn't look brand new even if it's only worn a few times. Yes, their stuff tends to run on the tight side, and it will shrink terribly if you toss it in the dryer by mistake. The quality of the design is definitely superior to American brands.

If you want deals, I occasionally see jacadi on flash sites like myhabit, vente privee, etc.

Lovely stuff, but unless I could get it on sale at a very steep discount (or if I were wealthy, in which case, what the heck?), I could not justify buying Jacadi clothing.

Maybe if I had many children of the same sx and knew many children would get use out of it... But even then, that would only be for children's clothing, not baby stuff. I just looked at prices of very simple items that are easy to compare to other brands: I would never buy a baby a tee-shirt for US$37-45, or a pair of shorts for US$72!!!

Have you tried Zara baby clothing? They have very lovely things, also overpriced (IMO) but not crazy-expensive like Jacadi. Some of their styles are more trendy than classic, but here and there they have items that are classic too.

In France, Jacadi is considered the high class of kids clothing. I think they have a well deserved reputation.

my jacadi stuff has been worn 3 times and it still looks great
does run a bit on the smaller size so buy one size up.

you can also buy end of season for the next year or at the sample sales that they have a few times a year in manhattan

The one Jacadi outfit I received as a baby gift shrank the first time I washed it and looked old after the second time. I still squished all my kids into it because it happens to be a well-cut piece. So it fits them at 2 months instead of six, so what?
