Looking for a sheitel in Manhattan or Long Island

I need a long brown precut, hopefully under $1600 or so. I hate travelling around Brooklyn and want to keep it to these 2 areas. Any suggestions of where to go? I saw that Chaya's Precuts and BH wigs have salons out on LI...any thoughts on those two or ideas on where else to try? thanks!

I LIVE in Brooklyn, and I know what you mean, but if you want a nice shaitel I'd say bite the bullet for a few hours and shop in Brooklyn. It's the Mecca (so to speak) of the shaitel world, and it will be worth it in the long run. (Try getting some time to come during the week, especially in the morning. It's a lot less crazy.)
OH, the other option might be Lakewood, if you really can't stand Brooklyn. I seem to remember people here saying good things about several places there.

My daughter has a BH that she got as part of one of their "two-fer" offers and she's very happy with it, btw.

I don't know about BH, but you will not find a precut under $1600 at Chaya's. At least, that's been my experience ($2600-$3000 when I last checked about a year ago).
Milano is having a pre-Shavuous sale in the Five Towns one evening this week, I think. I saw it in the local paper. Yaffa also has a precut studio in Cedarhurst. While the quality of either of those brands may not (or may, depends who you ask) be as good as the two you mentioned, the price may be more up your alley.

The quality on Yaffas is definitely less than BH--and I have NEVER met ANYONE with a Milano who has had it more than a couple of months and is still happy with it! I wouldn't waste the money on a Milano--on sale or not.

My first one I wore for 2.5 years, this one is 3 years old and just starting to show wear and tear - I wear it every day, all day!

Btw, I have 2 friends who love their Milanos, both have had them for a few yrs. So it's possible!
