Anyone have any interesting ideas for a bat mitzvah gift?
My go-to gifts are either jewelery from Magnolia or a gift certificate to either Ricochet (camping store in Jerusalem area) or a book store.
I'd like to do something a bit different for a change.
The girl is our neighbors' daughter and she is my DD's best friend. She likes a wide range of things and has varied interests so it doesn't necessarily need to be a typically "girlie" gift.

| How about a watch, a subscription to a magazine or a personalized Parker/Cross pen?

How about:
Music, or gift certificates to a music store.
Anything personalized: A bath towel, a siddur, a nice canvas bag... Or maybe a gift certificate to a store that personalizes things.
How about a kit full of scrap booking supplies and a blank scrap book?
A beautiful picture frame.
A good book, or a few good books of a series?
A gift certificate for a fancy dinner with a friend, or to get her nails done?
Tickets to a show or ballet
An hour in a recording studio with her friends.
Ok, I'm just about out of ideas.
