young family coming from israel for the summer looking to rent a car from someone (or "carsit Smile

) in Brooklyn or nearby. renting from a legit company is way too expensive- any leads would be appreciated! thanks!

If the car insurance company on the "sublet" car would find out about this, they may not cover any damages resulting from accidents, etc. Very not-recommended.

I did this before- it's ok- the car owner can just add my name to the insurance at no extra cost and its covered, just like if u lend ur friend your car.

you can add names to car insurance. It might cost a little, but not much.
