Starting in two weeks, I need to go downtown to work 2x a week starting in the evenings instead of during the day. I have to leave my house in WRP at 4 pm. The problem is that DH gets home from work between 6:30 and 7:00 everyday. I have 2 kids that cant be home by themselves without supervision.

I'm having problems finding a babysitter because the high schools don't let out until after 5.

I cant hire an older adult from somewhere like "loving care" because it is just for two and a half hours hours 2x a week, and I was told that they want longer shifts (and I really can't afford to be paying for hours when I don't need the babysitter).

Because it's the evening hours, I can't send out to a babysitter.

Does anyone have any ideas/names?

I'm amother b/c it's an open forum that anyone can read and I don't want the entire internet knowing when my kids are home alone with just a babysitter. If you have any ideas for me, write that you might have a lead, and I'll PM you.
