I have tickets to the circus for tonight. I didn't even cross my mind that it would be an issue with sefirah until a friend brought it up.
I'd just be going with my 3yr old ds - neither of us have ever been to the circus.
What do you think? I need an answer ASAP since we'd be leaving in about an hour.

| To be honest and this will make me sound like a frummy but there are many reasons I would not go to the circus with sefirah being the least of them.

| You and DS going to the circus? What is the problem regarding sefirah that you are worried about? The music? No problem, just don't enjoy it. But your son can listen to music and enjoy it as he is little.

I ended up going it and was a really cute time - just me and my little one.
I asked my DH before going and he looked into it and said it wasn't an issue at all, no shailah about it...
