OK, I'm the last person you expected to see this forum.

A friend has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and needs a wig that looks profesional. She tells me that everything is for old women, or way too expensive.

Can anyone provide NAMES and ADDRESSES of anyone in the NY / Westchester / Rockland /Connecticut area that might be good leads for her, and not blink an eye that she's not Jewish.

Thanks.

FYI - I don't really know names, but when I was living in MD, I went with a friend to a sheital macher who had a certificate on her wall that said that she worked with cancer patients. Maybe the hospital/cancer ward has a connection. But it's true - no one does wigs like frum Jews do.

I feel like I'm always writing about Fortune Wig's Mazali line....but anyhow, they specifically target women who lose their hair for various reasons (in addition to frum women) and their comfort wigs are in the $300 range. They have salons in the tristate area and a nice website for your friend to check out.
