Can't get past it. am I nuts?

My second son looks distinctly different then the rest of us but every time my grandmother sees him she doesnt forget to tell us that he looks just like one of her brothers that were killed in the holocaust HY"D. Hey you never know....,

OP again. Her colouring actually does match the family, but none of her facial features do. I don't think that I felt this way when I held her right after birth. She's my only tall child, my only agile one, my only late talker and even her teeth came I in a different order. We all have round faces, her's is long....no one has been able to find anyone she really resembles.

Oh well.....she's gorgeous, adorable and delightful. We'll keep her!

I have a daughter that looks nothing like either me or dh, or any of our relatives for that matter. No, she was not switched at birth, I made dh follow them whenever she was taken away from me for a bath or to get weighed or whatever. The rest of the time she was with me. We watched them put her id bracelets on with a security monitor so she's definitely ours. Now that she's a teenager you really can see certain personality characteristics that are like both dh and myself. Sometimes when she's feeling sorry for herself though, she tells me how she wants to do a search for her biological mother.
