Hi,
We're having our fourth soon and are thinking of a new stroller. Our first was a peg, heavy bulky hard to fold. That was 2006. I feel like I haven't done a lot of research but this is what I'm looking for.
Our house has a bunch of stairs from the street (30ish) so something that bumps up and down stairs easily. Something I can fold easily to put in and out of our car. I know if its annoying to fold, I just won't want to leave the house.
We have a car, so I mostly use our stroller for walks to the park, shabbat etc. It doesn't really matter if its easy to get on a bus etc. A decent basket is OK but it doesn't have to be huge because its not like I'll be putting a whole grocery shop in it.
Also I'm debating between buying in Israel and in the US, is there a huge price difference???

| CitiMini. Although I loved the Bugaboo wheels and Uppababy wheels in Israel, they are both a pain to fold and take on buses.

Definitely City Mini. I love mine . Better to get in America if you have a way of getting it sent to you (don't ship it b/c then you need to spend money on shipping costs and pay meches here but if you know someone who is coming with a baby and can bring it for you that would be best)

The City Mini is not really meant for stairs, the warranty clearly states that if you use it on stairs the warranty is void (but if you're importing it you anyway may not care so much about warranty) but I also think that says something about the quality of the stroller and stair use (here's where all the city mini lovers will bite my head off )
Mt Buggy recently came out with the Mt Buggy Mini and it has a one handed fold. It's pretty new though so I don't know if anyone can vouch for it's stair climbing abilities.

Wow. Went to check out the MB Mini and the price is $679. You could buy three Citi Minis for that if they don't last, and from what I have seen they last just fine, even bumping up and down stairs here in E"Y. _________________ Liba, mommy to Zlata Tova 5/6/98, Tziporah Faiga 1/12/01, Esther Rivka 7/13/04 and Avraham Chaim 7/2/2006

| The City Mini GT is well worth $100 more than the standard city mini. It wheels awesomely, and doesn't tip as much as the city mini tends to do when it's burdened with packages.

the Maclaren is the best for the steps, not sure how to explain it but you dont have to turn around to shlept it up, you can just bump it up. hope you get what I'm saying.
it's not great if you do a lot of walking, especially uphill but folds nicely for the car and has a basket and the handles for bags _________________ Mothers of little boys....
