(((hugs))) I didn't post before, but did daven, but I see that posting here gives chizuk. Know that we're here davening that you should have a refuah sheleima b'karov. You seem to have a great perspective on things; let your inner strength give you physical strength.

oh no, OP, I have been following this thread and thinking of and davening for you. I am so sorry and I hope that it will be only the lightest treatment available that is necessary for you. may Hashem grant you a speedy refuah sheleimah and may He bless you with a long life of great happiness, mazal and brochos.

Thinking of you, OP. So sorry you're going through this. I'll pray for you when I light my candles on Shabbat, that you should have an easy experience with treatment, and a total and complete recovery.

Heartfelt wishes for a refia sheleima. May the road to recovery be as easy as possible. Hashem should grant you and your entire family the koach to weather all storms. Please reach out to your family. We don't need to know, but your family needs to be there for you, the burden of keeping secrets is very overwhelming. You will do much better with their tefillos and support--albeit, sift through their uncalled for--and well-meaning advice....

Refuah Shlaimah. May Hashem make the rest of the journey as easy and short as possible - to a complete refuah.

OP UPDATE:

Results are in. Unfortunately, it was what we expected, not what we hoped Sad .

I would never have expected that well wishes from strangers on the internet would be as heartwarming and touching as it turns out they are. I was thinking of my imamother ladies as I sat in that doctor's office.

This is not the end of the road. There is still further testing to be done to determine a course of treatment. It could be from quite an easy treatment, to quite a complicated invasive one.

So, if I may, could I ask my ladies for another favor??
I noticed on this thread, that even though none of you know who I am, you've come out to support and daven for me. From the most MO to the most Yeshivish to the most Chassidish, and everyone in between. Hinay ma tov uma naim sheves achim gam yachad. Please do me a Toiva. Next time you have something even a little bit disparaging to say about another Jew on this forum, please hold it in. For just a minute. Even if you're right, please let it go. For me. For a zchus that the rest of this journey should go just a tad easier for me and my family.

That sounds holier-than-thou, doesn't it? I don't mean it to be. If we can come together for this, let's try to stay together for just one more second. Please.

Cholah Bas Sorah Imeinu still needs you.

I've been thinking about you.
I'm so sorry to hear there is bad news.
I wish you a very speedy recovery and that you have a refua shleima min hashamayim bekarov, I will keep you in mind while davening.
In Hebrew there is a saying בא לחזק ויצא מחוזק a person comes to strengthen or support another person in need, and the person in need gives him much more strength, your post is just like that.

OP

I respect that you want privacy and you do not want us to know who you are.

But I hope that you have a physical support group near you. Family , friends and anyone who offers.
Treatments are not a picnic(understatement) and you need people around you.

And as for this site - I, for one would love to be able to help. Maybe there are some of us near you who can do so.

If you feel like revealing where you are and how we can help - I am happy to redirect offers if you want.

You are having a very bad time I imagine - beH it will be treated fast and efficiently. Please update us and let us daven for you .

Chole Bas Sora Imeinu
יהי רצון שתהי לך רפואה שלימה מן השמים במהרה.
I will IMH have you in my Tefillos, I respect your wish for privacy, however if there is anything that I can help, Hila's idea is very good. We can privately PM thru her. I will share with you, that my Rebbe Shlit"a wished me during a trying time. "you will call me with Bsuros Tovos", and his Bracha was granted. The Rebbe Shlit"a also recommended that at all times I remember that All that HKB"H does is full of rachmin. IT really helped me alot
remembering the statement and repeating it to myself a few times a day.
Be Well and keep on posting when you can.
IMH I will try to remember to perform Bein Adom Lchavero in your zchus.

Look how you've managed to pull together so many imamothers!!! That zchus alone is nothing to sneeze at!
HUGS!

One more thing, and if this is out of place please disregard it: Be wary of "natural" remedies to heal serious illnesses. I have a friend that went down this route and it turned into a much more awful situation.

Take care and I wish you and your family strength.

I second everyone, especially Barbara.
I understand where groisamomma is coming from. If I may, I might amend that to alternative, vs. complementary natural remedies, etc. And even those of course need research and a doctor's haskama.
Sorry to go off topic.

And Chossidmom, not only did she pull together so many imamothers but the quality of the brachos expressed is beyond words. Truly the kiyum of the promise, veheyei bracha. We have an unparallelled capacity for bracha, and as OP requested, let's use it for the good and to build. Not being Hashem's accountant, I have no idea how those zechuyos will be banked but they are powerful ones.
