You ladies are incredible. It's so touching that you have gone to the trouble of typing an encouraging post, and are davening for me. You made me cry.
ElTam, I am hoping and praying for one of those miracle stories. That's exactly what is needed right now. You know, "all the doctors thought yada yada yada, but in reality, it was just yada yada yada".
Keep praying. Together we can storm the gates of Heaven. I should know more by Wednesday or Thursday.

Sometimes (iyH in this case) the waiting is worse than the result...

I would never have expected that well wishes from strangers on the internet would be as heartwarming and touching as it turns out they are. I was thinking of my imamother ladies as I sat in that doctor's office.

This is not the end of the road. There is still further testing to be done to determine a course of treatment. It could be from quite an easy treatment, to quite a complicated invasive one.

So, if I may, could I ask my ladies for another favor??
I noticed on this thread, that even though none of you know who I am, you've come out to support and daven for me. From the most MO to the most Yeshivish to the most Chassidish, and everyone in between. Hinay ma tov uma naim sheves achim gam yachad. Please do me a Toiva. Next time you have something even a little bit disparaging to say about another Jew on this forum, please hold it in. For just a minute. Even if you're right, please let it go. For me. For a zchus that the rest of this journey should go just a tad easier for me and my family.

That sounds holier-than-thou, doesn't it? I don't mean it to be. If we can come together for this, let's try to stay together for just one more second. Please.
