I am moving to Flatbush (coney/ave J) next month IY'H. Starting Sep. I will be in school full time and will need to place my son (who will be two by that time) at nursery school. I am looking for an environment that is more than just "play group" atmosphere. I want him to actually learn and be in a frum atmosphere (not particular as to how frum). Being that I will be in school full time, unable to work, and DH does not make great money, I need to find an affordable school.
Additionally, I have seen ACD/HRA vouchers mentioned in some school ads. Does anyone have any info/ experience with these vouchers? I would love to get all the help I can.

Any help/advice/tips/leads are greatly appreciated!!! Smile

generally, 2 yr old places are considered playgroup and nursery is for 3 yr olds, not sure where youre moving from but the prices for 2 yr old programs are abt $350. theres a place called gan shelanu and I think they accept vouchers. they are on j and east 17th. I dont have their number though.

OK that makes sense, thank you so much for the lead. I guess what I had in mind was a somewhat structured program vs just letting all the kids play in a room the whole time. Do you know anything about these vouchers? I was doing research and came up with nothing.
