KIDS ARE BULLIES- VENT!

I sent my kids out to the picnic table in our backyard to wait for supper. While I was prepping it, I heard a lot of screaming.
I went outside to look and a gang of around 6 boys were in my backyard screaming at my kids, taunting them to get out of our development, they knocked my son's kappel off his head, smacked my 2 yr old on her behind, etc.
I got so angry, I ran after the boys yelling at them to get out of my backyard and never come back or I'd give them what for.
The problem is that I've seen this behavior so many times, and it seems like the parents either don't care or can't control their kids.
It gets me so angry that they just can come up and start beating up a kid totally unprovoked and no one gives a ..... (which I have witnessed as well.)
Last yr my kids couldn't play in the neighborhood play ground all summer long bec they were terrified of one boy who bullied them every time they went.
Is this normal?! Where is the chinuch and discipline? What kinds of kids are we raising?! Evil or Very Mad

Perhaps try supervising them when they are outside. Use a babysitter perhaps.

do you know who the boys are? who the parents are? they were in YOUR backyard- you totally can open your mouth to the parents.

No it's not normal. I really can't judge because it seems like every family has their own story of why their kids behave as they do, but our kids are the ones who suffer! If you know the parents I would go over and speak to them face to face because if you make yourself annoying enough, they might just "discourage" their kids from coming near your kids.... I have found when I call they are not receptive at all. The one time I went to the persons house was amazing because the mother was so wonderful!!!! She really took care of it!

It sounds like you need to supervise when the kids are outside. I have found that sometimes parents won't believe what their "little darlings" are doing unless they have proof. One of my children was getting mean notes at school. The mother of the note writer denied her child was involved. So I got the meanest note, scanned it, and emailed it to her. Faced with evidence the kid confessed, came to our house to apologize, etc. Never a problem again.

If the boys are all from the same school, what do people think of calling the menahel and saying, "This is what your students are doing when they aren't in your school, what kind of name is that giving your school." (You probably wouldn't be able to identify the kids by name in that case, but check with a rav, maybe it would be allowed.
