| |
Im looking for strollers for my 6 month old (been using a car seat and snap'n'go till now)
I want an easy fold, light weight stroller that fully reclines, has decent storage, pushes easily and of course is comfortable for my baby.
Im looking to spend under $300. Under $200 would be even better.
Any info would be appreciated!

| I got a britax that was discontinued off of albee baby, was under $100. It was an umbrella stroller with lots of features, if that's the kind of thing you're looking for. If you want something more substantial, not an umbrella stroller, then the previous suggestions are good and popular ones. I happen to dislike the BJ seat, but that's just me...

| The maclaren quest is great! Very lightweight and user friendly, and looks comfortable for baby. And if you look around you can find great colours!

Do you prefer umbrella handles or a single handle bar? _________________ http://a-natural-birth.com

This is the stroller I have, but much improved (mine is from 2005...I've been using it for over 6 years as my main stroller and it's not looking any worse for wear!) http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ.....B005UZXURK
If you want to spend more and have a more compact fold and a bassinet: http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ.....B004GJXN9Q
These strollers are lightweight, from my experience durable (I have heard mixed things, but I've heard that about every stroller), carseat compatible, handlebar which I prefer, nice sized basket, AMAZING sunshade -- unbelievable, no extras necessary -- comes with snack tray bar, etc, and it's extremely suitable for a sleeping baby. It has a boot thing that closes up so a non-mobile infant can be resting in there not buckled. Reclines fully. Comes with a winter muff thing which is good for your climate.

I would say go for the city mini, although a bit expensive for a stroller, its great to push, lightweight, easy to fold (1 sec) one handed, and it pushes a dream (as I said!)
The only thing I don't like is the one bar handle and not too big basket....
If you want two handles take the maclaren but it is a bit hard to maneuver. _________________

Am I the only one who finds the citymini heavy/difficult to carry? I can't hold the baby is one hand and carry it in the other. Is it because I'm short?
I'm looking for a subway stroller that is also decent to shop in and everyone is suggesting the city mini. If I have to bump it down the stairs anyway -I don't need a lightweight separate stroller, I can do that with my regular stroller. _________________ "But it's no use going back to yesterday, I was a different person then"- Alice in Wonderland

Thank you everyone for all your suggestions. I am looking at every one of them and reading reviews on them.
I think I prefer the bar handle to 2 separate handles.

I have the peg perego vela and I'm happy with it. It folds easily and is extremely light weight at only 10 pounds! It fold easily with one hand and reclines pretty flat - not enough for a new born, and has a big basket.
It has 3 wheels so has steering like a jogger, but the wheels are not air wheels and not so big. I find the push very good but I guess not as amazing a big, air jogger wheels. The seat is comfortable, but not the best cushions etc.
I also like it bec it takes the peg perego car seat.
good luck!

| Contours Lite Stroller is very light - around 13 pounds, pushes well with swivel wheels, comfortable seat (not sure if it could take an infant), has a bar handle, but you need 2 hands to fold it tho it does fold easily and it has a nice size basket
