Title says it all.

So far, for me, its been the little kit with ten numbered pieces of chametz, in little plastic sleeves.

Here it is online:

These are also quite funny:

I know people who cover their faucets. What's so funny?

I actually bought this faucet cover last year. Its semi-sheer white stretchy fabric. It worked well for the neck and handles, which I "do" cover, But it also covered the spigot, where the water comes out. IOW, the water flows through the fabric. It looked like a giant faucet condom. I wish I had a picture.

Laughing yeh and its impossible to wash anything without water splashing across the kitchen!
We used to do this at home but now my mother forgets about it and doesn't remind my father, we just cover the tap part with foil like the rest of the kitchen and leave the water part...the sink has a filter in it anyway....no bread crumbs in my water EVER!

But the best/wierdest pesach invention thingy must be the pesach cereal, coz it tastes so gross it cannot even be called cereal, its dog food lol

Years ago, (while working for a top kashrus agency which shall remain nameless!) my boss told me that pre-Pesach, she had seen in the store a floor mat (the kind you put near the sink when washing dishes) with a Kosher L'pesach symbol on it. (Happened to be from the agency we worked for.) She could not get over it. You really can't make this stuff up.

How about this, I saw a toilet cleaner, that says beware poison etc. on it, that said kosher lepesach on it. At least while you're dying in agony you'll know that the last thing you ingested was not chometz!!!

As the mother of a family with a few kids who are gluten-free, these are great! It isnt matzo but they feel like it is. It doesnt taste too bad. Obviously they wont use it for the seder, but at least this week and next while I am trying to get cleaned and turned over, this is something they can have and feel like they are eating egg matzo like everyone else! I would buy this all year if it was available.

I definitely understand! I was just surprised at all the ingredients that went into it!

The weirdest thing I have EVER seen for Pesach came to me courtesy of the Kollel store in Brooklyn a few nights ago-- I was buying aluminum pans, which were out on the shelves, and noticed that next to the ones that were out were bagged and sealed aluminum pans with a label reading no oil, KLP hechsher etc... I had never ever thought about this before- what oils are on aluminum pans?! Then I noticed there was no price on it, which told me all I needed to know about these pans...

Did/will you tell your kids that it was shehakol?

Gluten free it may be, but calling it "matzo" is really odd.

The gluten free oat matzos are one things, these are shehakol crackers...

Of course I told them it's shehakol. You are right they are really a cracker but I'm not so much hung up on what they called it. I suppose if you aren't tuned into it you could make a mistake and think it is real matzo but it doesn't taste like real matzo. To me it didn't seem a big deal.

Matza "sandwhich strips". which literally looked like matza pre-cut into long strips. Honestly people, save yourself $5.00 and break the matza yourself!

They taste pretty good too. They're a big hit with the kids.
OOTBubby, do you remember which brand was a hit by you?

The ones we bought the last few years, in plastic containers, were phenomenal. Maybe they were by Osem, or Gefen? I can't remember.

I only saw the bagged Paskez one's this year, bought two, and they were horrible! Mouthfuls of powder.

Would like to write down the correct brand to buy next year.

TIA.

My notes from the past say they were Osem, but this year the only Osem ones I found were little rings and we did not like them. I did buy some Paskesz ones this year (in a bag) and they were okay (but I think the Osem ones were better).

I heard about a pre-made Eruv Tavshilin bag, and actually tasted KLP (non-gebroktz!) grilled cheese! And yes, the grilled cheese was impressively delicious! Shocked

You know those Yarmulkes and ties etc that look like matza? We always looked at them and thought "who actually wears them???" Well, our guest for Seder this year did!
