| I'm looking for black shabbos shoes for my toddler boys, something nice but not too fancy, that will hold up to normal kid wear and tear - and WIDE WIDTH. Anyone know where I can find these online? I'm not looking to spend more than $30/pair. Thanks!

| Check out Pediped- they have really comfortable loafer styles that wear really well. Once you find a style you like, see if Amazon or Zappos or Ebay have it cheaper before you order.

I would strongly advise AGAINST getting pedipeds.
I recently won shoes from them and I was beyond disappointed.
I've bought their baby shoes which I loved. their children shoes were terrible.
my son wore his sneakers for under a month. after a few weeks they had holes the soles were coming off etc (my son is not hard on his shoes- I only buy him shoes 2x a year- pesach and succos) and these had to get replaced after a month.
same w/ my daughter- shoes did not last more than a few weeks.
maybe their leather shoes are different. 1 pair of my daughter's shoes did last....

| I have always bought my son black new balance with the velcro, always holds up and don't have to worry about running around and getting them ruined. They last great. It's a waste of money to buy shabbos shoes as he is going to be running around and playing anyway so all you will do is eat yourself up that his new shoes got ruined so quickly! Just some advise from been there done that. As a side note, zappos, landsend, sears many websites have plain black!

I don't remember exactly which style I got, but they were navy suede with white stitching around the toe and 1 off center velvo strap. When they got too small after close to a year of use, I gave them to my nephew (who wore them for close to another year until he outgrew them) because they were in pristine condition and it would have been a shame to toss them.
