| Anyone know which gown purchase/rental places have the nicest gowns in Bklyn? Looking for modern, stylish dress for sister's wedding. Can't be too frumpy or out of style. Any ideas?

bridal direct on coney island avenue
there is a couple other places on coney island avenue, some to buy some to rent. (between I&j j&k o&p)

I went to the one in Lakewood, but Augenbruns is amazing. They did such an amazing job for my wedding gown as well as all the gowns for the family -- I really just want another simcha in the family so I have an excuse to wear something other than white!  It wasn't crazy expensive, and the fittings and seamstresses were really pleasant. They seemed to have a really large selection as well.
I'm pretty sure there is a branch in Brooklyn, so I'd definitely check it out.

Yes, Augenbraun in Brooklyn (Coney around K) is excellent.
