Signs before first period

This is my oldest DD, hence the question...
Are there any signs of puberty that I would see before DD would get her first period? Will she have pubic hair, etc...I do not remember what comes first, etc...

Some will have pubic and underarm hair. Some will have some breast development. Some will have both, others will have none. Puberty is individual to each girls as is the age when they will start menstruating. Just so you know, many girls are getting their periods early these days (my daughter among them).

it usually comes a few months-ayear after the developing of breasts.
